At Auckland Theatre Company, we believe that theatre is for
everyone from children to grandparents, teenagers to parents,
newcomers to hard-core enthusiasts.
Our innovative community programme, ATC Participate, encourages
Aucklanders to get actively involved with theatre processes in
accessible, fun ways.
This year you can join us!
Learn new skills in our classes, sing your heart out in our
choir, watch open rehearsals, attend open-days and play readings,
get to see behind-the-scenes and take part in community shows in
our MADE IN AUCKLAND programme.
In March, we are celebrated Auckland's much-treasured,
much-trodden street of a thousand stories, Dominion Road with a
unique Auckland Festival event, AUT
DOMINION ROAD STORIES.
There's also exciting opportunities for established or emerging
professional artists to learn, share and create in our INDUSTRY
programme.
In the July school holidays we bring family fun to the Bruce
Mason Centre as BADJELLY THE WITCH flies into town
and in October we are delighted to present a fresh and lively
revival of NIU
SILA at the Mangere Arts Centre.
Theatrical experiences made in Auckland by people like you!
