From the award-winning writer of Le Sud, The Tutor and Niu Sila comes a cracker of a comedy, set in a classic New Zealand motor camp.

Two couples. Two caravans. Two teenagers. Frank Redmond, a left-wing literacy lecturer, subjects his long-suffering wife and daughter to a run-in with their garrulous camp neighbours: Mike Hislop, a redneck builder, his social-climbing partner Dawn Tairoa and her hormonally charged son, Jarod. A gloriously funny take on our annual Kiwi camping rituals.

"All too amusingly real... hilarious and touching at the same time." - Dominion Post

"A superbly crafted comedy." - Theatreview

"Dave Armstrong has established himself as one ofNew Zealand's most popular playwrights with his laugh-a-minute satires playing to packed houses up and down the country. Now his latest play, The Motor Camp, looks set to join that winners' club. The perfect après-holiday comedy about the surprising ups and annoying downs of your summer camping experiences." - Colin

                  PLAY DURATION:
Approx two hours including a 20 minute interval.
