David is a professional actor and voice artist and freelance creative writer and jingle producer with a penchant for the occasional interlude in theatre and musicals.

From the voice and puppeteer machinations of TV star Russell Rooster to this years’ undertaking of the role ‘The Undertaker’ in the musical documentary The Coffin Club, his repertoire extends across multiple platforms.

His notable musical theatre roles include the 1994 New Zealand tour of Jesus Christ Superstar playing ‘Priest 3’, ‘Vince Fontaine’ in Grease at The Aotea Centre, and a backing vocal ghoul for The Rocky Horror Show tour in 1986 which featured former New Zealand Prime Minister, Sir Rob Muldoon.

He has played several TV roles for Shortland Street and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, core cast in Rude Awakenings, guest appearances in Xena, Jackson’s Wharf and The Black Stallion.
