Sister Mary Robert
Since her first appearance as a ‘Munchkin’ in The Wizard of Oz at the Glen Eden Playhouse, Sammie has been drawn to the world of musical theatre. She has played a ‘Nicest Kid in Town’ in Hairspray at Sky City Theatre, a ‘1920s Flapper Girl’ in Addams Family - The Musical, and was the youngest ensemble member in the cast of Evita produced by Auckland Music Theatre and Amici, which played at the Bruce Mason Centre.
Performing for the last 10 years, Sammie was most recently on stage playing the role of ‘Campbell’ in North Shore Music Theatre’s 2017 production of
Bring It On - The Musical. Sammie was ‘Tracey Turnblad’ in the Avondale College production of Hairspray.
Sammie is extremely excited to take on the role of innocent little ‘Sister Mary Robert’, but is even more excited at the opportunity of dancing as a glittery nun!
At 19 Sammie is very grateful to work with such talented and knowledgeable people, and appreciates all her family and friends for their encouragement in pursuing what she hopes will be a lifelong career.
