Amy Usherwood is a 2007 National Institute of Dramatic Art acting graduate. She has appeared on stage and screen in both Australia and Aotearoa.

Film and television highlights: Emma Franklin on Shortland Street, Louise Hillary in Hillary, and Helpdesk in feature film Eternity, for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2013 New Zealand Film Awards. Most recently, Amy played Frankie in Mystic and Vita in The Brokenwood Mysteries.
