Anna Cameron is the General Manager of Auckland Theatre Company, responsible for the day to day running of all aspects of the Company.
With 27 years of experience in the New Zealand arts sector, Anna is a senior arts administrator who has held a variety of roles across the arts and creative industries.
Anna’s background is in theatre performance, direction and producing and after a successful tour to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1997, Anna moved into arts administration and has held several different positions of leadership and management of organizations and teams.
Directly prior to joining ATC in January 2019, Anna was Manager Programme Planning in the Arts and Culture Unit at Auckland Council.
Before relocating to Auckland in 2016, Anna was resident in Wellington for 14 years and was Head of Programming at the New Zealand International Arts Festival; Manager Public Programmes and Education at City Gallery Wellington; Assistant Director and Manager Arts and Creative Industries at British Council; Event Director of Semi-Permanent; and Director of Playmarket.
