Stephen graduated from the New Zealand Drama School in 1994 and went on instantly to feature in Colin McColl’s production of WHAEA KAIRAU-MOTHER HUNDRED EATER. From there he has worked extensively in theatre, film and television in productions of BOYS AT THE BEACH, BRAINDEAD, THE MUSICAL, THE SECRET GARDEN and the Australasian production of WEST SIDE STORY. Television credits include MIRROR, MIRROR, ENID BLYTON, JACKSON’S WHARF and several XENA and HERCULES episodes. He has appeared in the last two international Festival of the Arts productions of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and more recently as Pania in BLUE SMOKE. ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN marks Stephen’s second Stoppard play following Circa Theatre’s production of TRAVESTIES in 1999 as Tristan Tzara. Stephen comes directly from a National Tour of THE MUSICIANS OF BREMEN as the neurotic rooster.
