Update (25 February 2022)

GRAND HORIZONS: 8 FEB - 5 MARCH 2022

All remaining performances of Grand Horizons, including tonight's performance on 25 February, are now cancelled.

Due to the rising levels of infection in the community, the company has made the decision to cancel the rest of the season.

We have enjoyed amazing audiences to date, even with only 100 people each night. We are grateful to all the team at ASB Waterfront Theatre, the Grand Horizons cast and crew and everyone at Auckland Theatre Company who have so carefully held the season and kept the audience safe.

All ticket holders have been sent an email with further details. The box office at ASB Waterfront Theatre is very busy so we greatly appreciate your patience.

Update (24 February 2022)

WITI'S WĀHINE: 10 - 28 MAY 2022

We are sorry to advise that the co-production between Auckland Theatre Company and Hāpai Productions of Nancy Brunning's Witi's Wāhine is postponed.

Witi’s Wāhine is a large-scale kaupapa that would be rehearsing and performing over the coming months. If we start making it, there is a high risk the production would have to be paused or even cancelled due to COVID-19 cases and isolation periods. We also have ongoing uncertainty about gathering size limits and for Witi’s Wāhine, we cannot present the show to just 100 people. That means we will reschedule Witi’s Wāhine into 2023.

If you are a ticket holder, you will receive an email advising you of your ticketing options. The box office is fielding a large number of requests and we greatly appreciate your patience.
