Auditions
We are doing an open call out for self-tape submissions. All submitting actors must be Auckland-based for the following rehearsal and season dates. There are no accommodation or travel expenses available for this production.
- Rehearsals: Monday 10 August - Monday 21 September
- Season: Tuesday 22nd September - Sunday 25th October
Please read the below application information, auditionee criteria and audition requirements carefully.
We are looking for high-calibre, musical theatre singers and dancers who meet the following:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Applicants must be Auckland-based for the given dates
- Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Applicants are of a high-calibre, musical-theatre singer
- If you have an agent, we will make all contact through them
- If you do not have an agent, provide your own contact details in your email
- Provide a short introduction
- State whether you are auditioning for a role, for the dance ensemble, or both
- Provide two contrasting songs, lasting no longer than one verse and one chorus each
- Songs must be accompanied, either by track or musician
- Tapes must be uploaded in private/unlisted YouTube or Vimeo format, with no expiry date. Please provide link and password in your email
The deadline for all self tape submissions is Monday 17 November.

All applicants will be contacted by Monday 24th November. Successful applicants will be invited to in-person audition calls throughout December and January. Dates will be provided if invited.
