Sons of Vao Giveaway Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
The promoter is Auckland Theatre Company, based in Auckland, New Zealand.

2. Promotion
The promotion is the Sons of Vao giveaway, as advertised on Auckland Theatre Company’s official social media channels.

3. Promotion period
The giveaway opens when the giveaway post is published and closes at 11.59pm NZT on 26 June 2026. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

4. Eligibility
Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over. Employees, contractors and immediate family members of Auckland Theatre Company, Metita and Four Shells Kava are not eligible to enter.

5. How to enter
To enter, participants must:

·       comment on the giveaway post with who they would bring and why they deserve this deluxe experience; and

·       be following Auckland Theatre Company on the relevant social media platform at the time of the draw.

Entry is limited to one entry per person. Duplicate entries, spam, automated entries, offensive entries or entries that otherwise breach these terms and conditions may be disqualified.

No purchase is required to enter.

6. Prize
One winner will receive:

·       one double pass to Sons of Vao;

·       one $200 voucher to Metita; and

·       one Four Shells Kava prize pack valued at $135, including 1 × Ngata Bowl and 2 × coconut shells.

The total prize value is $335 plus the value of the Sons of Vao double pass.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Prize components are subject to availability and any conditions set by Auckland Theatre Company, Metita and Four Shells Kava.

7. Ticket conditions
The Sons of Vao double pass is subject to availability. The winner must be able to attend an available performance. No travel, parking, accommodation, food, drinks or other additional costs are included unless expressly stated.

8. Metita voucher conditions
The Metita voucher is valued at $200 and is subject to Metita’s standard voucher terms, booking requirements, opening hours and availability. Any spend above the voucher value is the responsibility of the winner.

9. Four Shells Kava prize conditions
The Four Shells Kava prize pack is valued at $135 and includes 1 × Ngata Bowl and 2 × coconut shells. The prize is subject to Four Shells Kava’s standard terms, availability and collection or redemption requirements. Any additional costs are the responsibility of the winner.

10. Winner selection
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries after the giveaway closes on 26 June 2026. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

11. Winner notification
The winner will be contacted by Auckland Theatre Company via direct message from Auckland Theatre Company’s official social media account.

The winner must respond within 48 hours of being contacted. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within this time, is ineligible, or cannot accept the prize, Auckland Theatre Company may redraw the prize.

12. Announcement of winner
Auckland Theatre Company may announce the winner by first name, surname initial, social media handle or comment on its social media channels.

13. Publicity
By entering, participants agree that Auckland Theatre Company may use their name, social media handle and entry comment for the purposes of administering and promoting the giveaway, including announcing the winner.

14. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with this giveaway will be used only for the purposes of administering the giveaway, contacting the winner and arranging prize fulfilment, unless otherwise agreed. Personal information may be shared with Metita and Four Shells Kava only where necessary to fulfil the prize.

15. Disqualification
Auckland Theatre Company reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who submits an incomplete, duplicate, fraudulent, automated, offensive, inappropriate or misleading entry, or who otherwise breaches these terms and conditions.

16. Changes to the promotion
Auckland Theatre Company reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the giveaway if circumstances outside its reasonable control affect the fair or proper running of the promotion.

17. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Auckland Theatre Company, Metita and Four Shells Kava are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the giveaway or the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

18. Platform disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta. By entering, participants release Instagram, Facebook and Meta from any responsibility or liability in connection with the promotion.

19. Acceptance of terms
By entering the giveaway, participants confirm that they have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.
