Take a Seat Terms and Conditions

  1. Auckland Theatre Company will select the seat at time of processing the donation. 

  1. A donation that secures naming rights to a seat confers no special access or privileges beyond the plaque affixed to the seat.  There is no guarantee a named seat will be available for any ticket bookings. 

  1. The donation secures naming rights to the seat for 10 years.  Thereafter, we will remove the plaque and re-sell the seat. 

  1. Founding donors who were the first to buy naming rights to a seat will have their name displayed on a board in the foyer of the theatre after 10 years. 

  1. If seats are replaced or the plaque is damaged, we will replace or repair the plaque at our expense. 

  1. We reserve final approval rights over the words to be displayed on the seat plaque. 

  1. Donations are made to Waterfront Theatre Trust, which is a registered charitable entity (registration no. CC48094). 

  1. If you and/or the person/s named on the plaque bring Auckland Theatre Company and/or ASB Waterfront Theatre into disrepute, we can remove the plaque at our sole discretion.  Removal of the plaque shall not entitle you to a refund. 

  1. In all matters, our decision shall be final.
