Auckland Theatre Company presents

Behind the Curtain Fundraiser Lunch

With special guest Jennifer Te Atamira Ward-Lealand CNZM

In support of our educational programmes and initiatives

Tuesday 21 April, 12pm – 2pm

QT Hotel Auckland

We’ve developed this intimate gathering so that our loyal supporters and patrons can have an opportunity to hear from special guests involved in our mainstage shows. Funds raised will go towards our educational programmes and initiatives.

Join Jennifer Te Atamira Ward-Lealand CNZM over a two-course lunch curated by Chef Sean Connolly, at the QT Hotel Auckland, paired with top-shelf reserves from Villa Maria. Jennifer will speak about her extensive career and share behind-the-curtain insights into the creation of Helen Clark in Six Outfits.

Hear more about what it takes to bring a show to the stage, discuss the play with like-minded theatre-lovers, and support us to continue to foster the next generation of theatre-goers.

Jennifer Te Atamira Ward-Lealand CNZM was a founding board member of the Watershed Theatre and The Actors’ Program. She is currently President of Equity New Zealand, Patron of Q Theatre, Theatre New Zealand, Howick Little Theatre and serves as a trust board member of the Actors Benevolent Fund. In 2023 she was appointed as a Board member of Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori – The Māori Language Commission.
