We're running a fundraising raffle to help support our theatre in 2027. Simply purchase a ticket online or in person at the theatre for your chance to win. It’s just $10 per ticket or 5 tickets for $40! 

Major Prize valued at over $10,000: 

A theatre-lovers trip for two to Sydney, including business class airfare, 3 nights luxury accommodation and a VIP experience at Sydney Theatre Company (3 shows & a backstage tour) with airport transfers and $1,000 spending money.

A money can’t buy opening night invitation. 

Join ATC’s supporters at all our remaining opening nights in 2027. Attendance is by invitation-only. Prize includes: 

  • Two premium tickets to all six remaining opening nights in 2027 

  • One carpark for each show at ASB Waterfront Thatre (dependent on ATCs continued ability to operate a carpark) 

A long Italian lunch for you and five friends at Baduzzi 

You’ll be joined by actors who will regale you with tales of show business whilst enjoying Baduzzi’s renowned food and hospitality. Prize includes: 

  • Lunch for winner and six friends, plus 2 actors to the value of $120 ea 

(Beverages are not included in the prize, to be paid for upon consumption) 

  • Six premium tickets to the winners preferred 2027 ATC show 

10 double passes for the 2027 ATC season 

Ten winners can take their pick from the 2027 Auckland Theatre Company season. Prize includes: 

  • 10 prizes consisting of 2 tickets to the winner’s choice of performance in the ATC 2027 season. 

An exclusive night of theatre at a private home with renowned actors 

An invitation for you and up to 8 friends to join actors at a location to be confirmed for a night of soliloquys and performances. Prize includes: 

  • In home catering for up to 10 people  (Beverages are not included in the prize) 

  • Appearance from actors (TBC) for one night 

  • Location may be a private home or provided by company 

A city escape for one night staying at Hotel Britomart and dinner for two at kingi restaurant 

Enjoy a night in the city with a taste of luxury. Prize includes:

Tickets can be bought online. Or you can pick them up in person during the season of Cabaret and Misery. The prize draw will take place at 10am on Wednesday 24 February 2027, at ATC's Balmoral Studio.

The Fine Print

  1. The name of the society running this lottery is: The Theatre Foundation (TTF). 

  1. Name and address of the organiser of the lottery:  Auckland Theatre Company ,The Theatre Foundation, 487 Dominion Rd, Balmoral, Auckland. 

  1. Authorised purpose:  TTF will use the funds to support professional theatre on an ongoing basis in Auckland, providing grants to ATC (as required) for this purpose. 

  1. Draw date:  10am on Wednesday 28 October 24 February 2027 at ATC Head Office, 487 Dominion Rd, Balmoral. 

  1. Tickets will be numbered by row and seat – i.e. 1- 1 to 125 - 80 (10,000 in total) 

  1. Winners will be notified via announcement on Auckland Theatre Company’s website, social media channels and email. 

  1. Prizes include: A theatre lovers trip for two to Sydney; an opening night invitation to all 7 productions in Auckland Theatre Company’s 2027 season including a carpark for each event; a lunch at Baduzzi Restaurant for winner and 5 friends with actors present; 10 double passes for 10 winners to choose from ATC’s 2027 season;  an in-home performance from an actor with catering for 10 people; a city escape for one night at Hotel Britomart and a tasting menu at kingi restaurant. 

  1. Cost of entry is $10 per individual ticket or $40 for 5 tickets 

  1. Total number of tickets in the lotter will be 10,000 

  1. The process for drawing winners will be a random number draw done via a computer 

  1. Cancellation: In the event that the lottery is cancelled, this will be published on ATC social channels before 24 February 2027, and entrants will be refunded all money 

  1. By licence issued under section 37 of the Gambling Act 2003
