Amy Robertson

Amy Robertson is in her fifth year at the University of Auckland, studying a Law and Arts degree. For many years Amy has dedicated her time to singing and performance, performing in award-winning choirs, barbershop quartets and musicals. She has played Widow Corney in Oliver!, Grizabella in Cats, Morticia in The Addams Family, and many more. She also has experience working with children of all ages, so she naturally gravitated toward youth theatre.

Amy started at APAA as an intern, working with a host of industry professionals and allowing her to grow and develop. In APAA’s 2020 production of The Sound of Music, she worked alongside director John Callan as directing intern and backstage throughout the show’s season. APAA’s successful season of Disney’s High School Musical was her directorial debut. She has loved working with the incredible staff and talented kids and has really enjoyed every second of directing Cats over the extended rehearsal season.
