A chance to refresh, reconnect & reinvigorate presented by Auckland Theatre Company and The Actors’ Program.

Re-start is a series of free workshops for the Auckland acting community. As we enter 2022, we invite Auckland’s actors to join us for autumn workshops to connect with community & reengage with craft. Led by leading industry professionals, and offered for free to professional actors in Auckland, to help artists restart their creative engines.

“Actors thrive on their creative community, stymied by the pandemic, and so initiatives like this are an essential reinvigoration of our industry. And a bloody good time in a room!" — Benjamin Henson, The Actors' Program Artistic Manager

“The connections between us have been disrupted like never before, and we’re yearning to reconnect. ATC is delighted to be working with The Actors Program to give Auckland’s acting community a space to explore and celebrate the connections between us.”
— Jonathan Bielski, Auckland Theatre Company Artistic Director & CEO

Re-start workshops emphasise collaboration, creativity & process. They are not a training programme or an audition workshop.
